Very unfortunate that his health failed, but really, he should have retired. McCain was able to put aside his differences with Bush 43, his differences with Obama, but would not relent on Trump. So sad to watch it play out.

Seriously, you take a parting shot because he would not relent on the character assassination comments made by a president that knows not the meaning of civility. Unreal.

I voted for McCain 3 times and he disappointed me in 2008. He let BHO run all over himself and did nothing to defend Palin. He was a RINO in my opinion and voted against his party on critical issues. I do believe the beatings he took from the North Vietnamese caused him PTSD which he kept inside which was responsible for his radical decisions. Sadly, he died a bitter man, RIP.

Seems to me that McCain took a page out of the Clinton Foundation playbook. Not to mention his long-time opposition to releasing documents and information about American prisoners of war in Vietnam and the missing in action who have still not been accounted for. Also see By Sydney Schanberg https://www.vvof.org/mccain_hides.htm https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/04/08/john-mccains-claim-he-has-nothing-to-do-with-the-mccain-institute/?utm_term=.4778df94cfaf Not a fan of this man.

CAPT Rick "Spike" Martin - It seems Kerry and McCain were in a hurry to normalize relations with Vietnam twenty years ago, and McCain trashed those who were opposed to the negotiations.
