Why does everyone think they have to hide our history? Really getting annoying.

This could best be resolved at the national level.
We should pass a law that would delete and expunge the names of all historical figures who ever owned slaves, mistreated any indigenous people, minorities, or immegrants in any way, were associated with any of the rebellions against the lawful government, or ever said a kind word about any of the aforementioned individuals in writing or in any public statement.
Of course doing so would completely eliminate all study of US history, but that seems of little consequence since history is one of many subjects no longer taught in most US schools.
