Also ma'am please make sure it's the right key and in tune. Yes, I know the difference, I was an Army Band 1SG & CDR. :) LOL I can also sing tenor or bass as well. I think I'm losing my upper register for tenor but gaining the lower register in return for bass. Could be an age thing. I'll have to tell you a story another time about that. It's funny.

Church tonight... I too am a Tenor, actually probably more of a Baritone, but I sing lead in Barbershop and Tenor in traditional/classical choruses as I lean more toward the high end. I can hit the bass notes, but not with any real authority.

I have what now is a funny story about my attempts to sing, but I'll not bore you with that one right now. On another another occasion, to the best of my knowledge, I am the only preacher whose congregation asked him NOT to lead singing!
