The line that sticks out to me the most in this article is where the defense attorney says "This matter was handled entirely irregularly." Since when is leaving your post "regular". Sure, he was up for discharge in 2011 but let's not forget the government has the right to involuntarily extend any service member. Stop Loss is a son of gun. I think the military's handling of this craziness is being done as best as they can, I just wish they would speed it up.

If we're going to have a trial, make sure it's a fair trial. The Judge is the referee.

I would Hope So. If they want to come off looking like they have any Integrity they are going to bend over backwards, Also the Military Justice System with it's "Fairness Doctrine" If they hope to impose any further Detention they are going to have to give everything, no questions asked to the Defense. Any Prosecutor is basically boned on this one from the Get Go with this guy getting Recruited after getting a Mental Discharge from the Coast Guard.
