How can suing the Feds be good in this case? Sue the people who ran the city all those years. Start with the Mayors. Oh wait, they can't. Libs ran and have run the city for years.

Poisoning the almost 40% of the white residence is ok? Flint did this to themselves. This Obama judge is known for her activism. Also interesting that she was previously employed by the EPA.

But you're right, "Willful Ignorance Should Not be Cheap".

How can you sue the feds ( read that us the general taxpayer everywhere) over a local responsibility. Not my responsibility to make sure Flint has upgraded lines any more than it would be theirs to fix my well, pump and supply system.

MSG Tom Earley - It's still the local governments responsibility to maintain local infrastructure through capital improvements and maintenance and to perform water quality testing. It's also the local governments job to request grants and state or federal aid to assist with gaining compliance. EPA doesn't install, maintain or run infrastructure systems, they inspect existing systems for compliance and can cite deficiencies and level fines.

Besides outdated piping and purification systems the local government switched water sources which exacerbated and overloaded an already jacked up system.
