The precedent making THIS possible is the litigation that was weaponized versus the tobacco industry. Gunmakers now are where tobacco companies were a couple decades ago, with a gigantic target on their foreheads.

Obviously that judge knows nothing about firearms, particularly the AR-15. Unfortunately we also have some ignorant leftists on RP who insist on spouting BULLSHIT.

The author of the article too. They described a basic AR as a “long gun.” While the platform certainly can perform the function when properly prepared it is by no means a long gun off the shelf.
