I've been looking at 1M+/month stats for a while. I didn't realize the data these numbers are being generated from were actually NICS background check numbers until today. Not FFL reporting of actual units sold. It's still a big number, and will act as a deterrent to any foreign power that has designs to land troops within our borders.
