Scientists seek facts without regard to where they lead. Climate alarmists seek money and power, and have disregarded data which does not fit their models, and have inflated impacts, and predicted dooms, many times for many years, which have not come to pass. We should not be surprised that people have become skeptical of the claims, when the climate alarmists have made so many false ones.

I agree with you Col Joseph Lenertz, but I believe that there are some things we could change globally to minimize the impact on our planet. Carbon emissions is one of those and may be a detrimental factor... What say you, Colonel?

I agree. To the extent it doesn't force humanity to retreat to caves and eat our own pets, I want to protect our planet for my grandchildren's happiness. Even though I am skeptical of the impact of 400 ppm CO2 vs 350 ppm CO2 (1/2 of a hundredth of a percent change in the atmosphere), I have long been an advocate for nuclear power as a safe and pragmatic mechanism to replace fossil fuel production of electricity for the nation-wide grid. Solar and wind have their niche roles for 3 to 5% of national production, but they are not the large answer, as Germany discovered when it shut down its nuclear reactors and then was forced to import power from Russia.

PO1 Tony Holland As Far as Local Effect/Affect. It Delayed the Heat Wave for 2 weeks that We Normally See Here in the KC Metro but has already dumped More Rain than We Have in a Year. Delaying Crop Planting Significantly. The Kaw River is Still Way Up and Don't Know when I'll be Able to Go Fishing (My Style of Fishing depends on Clear Water. No Mud)
