My say it is fine. This is absolutely the least expensive way to deal with Russia in terms of both blood and treasure.
We tried the isolationist route in Europe before. Every time we tried it the problem exploded and we ended up with a huge mess that cost a ton of blood and treasure to help clean up.

Do you really believe being in Germany, Japan, Italy and scores of other countries, including 31 countries who are NATO members. I don't call that necessarily "isolationist." Nor BILLION$ of taxpayer dollars "least expensive." Ukraine is not a member of NATO, nor do we have any mutual defense pacts or treaties with Ukraine. So, then why all the support for one of the most corrupt countries in Europe? Why does a member of Congress deliver a printed copy of all the Congresspeople who supported Ukraine aid to Zelensky? None of it makes any sense whatsoever. If this had been done under Trump the DemonRats would have impeached him a third time.

MAJ Montgomery Granger It is not true that we have no defense pact with Ukraine. We absolutely did promise to protect them if they gave up their nukes. If they still had their nukes, Russia likely wouldn't be doing this right now. But no, in the name of non proliferation we pledged to protect them in exchange for getting rid of their nukes. As normal, we don't honor or deals because our memory is too short and our citizens too selfish.
Trump absolutely would not have been impeached for defending Ukraine. The fact that you think he would have been impeached for that tells me you don't really understand why he was impeached.

Why do you believe this is not ok?
Do you think Russia should be allowed to take any land they want?
American dollars today or American lives tomorrow.

LOL! Whoa, there, Padnah! Since when do we give BILLION$ to countries we have no treaties or partnerships with? Ukraine isn't even a member of NATO. In fact, for over 500 years, Ukraine was part of Russia or the Soviet Union. Obama blinked when they took back Crimea under referendum. Other ethnic Russian majority provinces want protection from a ruthless and prejudiced Ukrainian gov't who even outlaw the use of the Russian language by ethnic Russian Ukraines.

My take is this is not only fine but the preferred method of dealing with this situation. Every morning I get up, sit on the side of the bed and think about how lucky I am that I am not among the over 58,000 names on that wall. Now that was a stupid way to handle the situation
