Don't you just love "Bipartisan Report"? Well, it must be honest if it's "bipartisan", right? Now, moving past the snark, let's deal with the "report"...

Wherein this report does Trey Gowdy "admit" anything? It describes the lead investigator quitting and saying that nothing could have been done militarily to save the victims at Benghazi. How does that infer or imply that Gowdy admitted anything?

Allowing that nothing could have been done militarily, does that excuse the central figures (Hillary and Obama) from not making the attempt? Furthermore, the investigation has been about more than the purported "stand down" order. There's the issues of the lies that were told. The Administration's stories about a popular riot inspired by a YouTube video have been proven to have been advanced by the Administration and it has been proven that the Administration never had any credible evidence of this assertion being true and continued to perpetuate the lies long after the evidence was revealed that terrorists took advantage of lax security to conduct their raid.

Then there's the email server and the violations of security protocols by Hillary and her State Department. Those other "investigations" conducted while the Democrats controlled Congress were obviously attempts to whitewash the incidents at Benghazi. There never uncovered evidence of any wrongdoing which Gowdy's committee has.

So, you had best stifle all the gloating. This is just another piece of propaganda attempting to cover for Hillary so she can complete a successful campaign for the presidency.

If you really bothered to read the article, you would have seen that some words were underlined. That is the universal symbol for "Hey, this is a link to another web page!!". But, clicking on a link, right next to the quote that answers your question, may be too difficult, so here you go: http://crooksandliars.com/2016/05/trey-gowdy-finally-admits-truth-about

SGT Edward Wilcox - Oh, sorry. Forgive me my stupidity. I'm just a poor, ignorant fool. You would really think that someone who had programmed and later architected websites and web portals for major international corporations would know better. Well, apparently, all that experience and training failed to prepare me to listen to spoken words and understand their meaning. Maybe my legal training (I have a JD) screwed me up so badly that I can't understand what people say. Now, for all you other poor fools like me who haven't had the benefit of progressive Leftist indoctrination, apparently we're supposed to think that the embedded video reveals Trey Gowdy informing us that the persecution of poor Hillary has been nothing but a witch hunt. Intentionally so. I know it sounds like he's saying that the investigation was not focused only on a purported "stand down" order only, but don't you believe it. That's all this was about (according to the progressive Left) and that proves it was a witch hunt. Now, forgive me while I lumber off to my cave and continue to live in ignorance. While I continue to believe that four men died through malfeasance, misfeasance, or nonfeasance of the Obama Administration in general, and Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State, and that Trey Gowdy's committee has been doing an excellent job of proving this despite every attempt by the Democratic Party, their members in Congress and the White House, and their friends in the media, to obfuscate and deny the truth.

SGT Edward Wilcox What words out of Mr. Gowdy's mouth led you to believe that he undermined himself or the hearings? I just watched it and took a bite out of a big Nothing Sandwich as it pertains to your supposition.

SGT Edward Wilcox - Swing and a miss. You realize there was no video clip on the link you attached let alone of one of Mr. Gowdy admitting making any sort of an admission, statement, utterance etc.

Wrong on both accounts. Since you're too lazy to find it, click on Crooks and Liars, just above the video in the post. If you don't see a video at the bottom of the page, maybe you should consider upgrading to more recent technology.

Just looked again. No video. Do you want to try something more substantial than a Trump-like personal attack or is that all you've got? Really, I'm willing to read and listen but you've got to actually provide data that substantiates your position.

SGT Edward Wilcox - Is Crooks and Liars the one about obama, clinton, rice and the others who sold the "narrative"?

The bottom line question continues to linger and go unanswered... Why did they not even try? No one at the time knew the Ambassador was dead and yet there was still no response. This article and the Hillary team is trying to dismiss this issue using diversions and doublespeak. Something went wrong both on the ground and with our response. I think the American people should be made aware what went wrong with the response. I'm not one who automatically believes Clinton gave a direct order not to respond, but I believe someone either neglected their duty to get something going or didn't know what to do. We need to make sure whoever this person is can no longer be given such a decision in the future.

There are also more accounts from others in potential response units which are telling a different story. I'm not one to take their word for it automatically, but I would like these accounts to be addressed in a manner which makes sense. Instead it feels like a cover up.

Either way, I still say Clinton got us in this situation in the first place, she neglected the actions she could have taken to proactively protect her people in Libya, and she lied about what happened initially after at happened.
