I watched part of the trial including the closing arguments. If I had been on the jury, I would have found Mr Rittenhouse not guilty because of self defense.
A few other points:
-This isn't about race. The defendant, the victims, the lawyers, and the judge are all "white."
-Rittenhouse isn't a "white supremacist." Not being a racial minority does not make one a white supremacist.
-It was probably poor judgement for him to go to Kenosha with a semi-automatic rifle that day, but it wasn't illegal. Lots of 17-year-old kids show poor judgement.
