I am a white evangelical Christian so let me speak.
I am not an idiot as Sgt Turner stated below in the thread...name calling without facts is an irrelevant conversation
I am not against the shot as are many of my evangelical friends. It has nothing to do with conspiracy theories...but has everything to do with what I am putting in my body. I am for the shot, just not right now for me. I want more testing. As we have seen in the news when you want something real quick and really bad you will get something really quick and really bad...i.e. Johnson and Johnson vaccine causing blood clots. People in New Jersey got the vaccine and a month later they got COVID and one died and the other was in ICU. They didn't just stop or halt because of a few cases...that is what they want you to know. They don't just stop medications because of one or two anomalies...the White House doesn't come on TV and say they are stopping it for one or two. I want to know in a year or two what the effect will be on my lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, brain etc. Everyone just jumped on this bandwagon to get it and now some of those effects are rearing their ugly heads. It also doesn't make any difference in what we are doing...still have to wear a mask, still have to social distance etc. Is it going to take the survival rate from 98.7% to 98.9%? I am just not comfortable with taking it right now. When it has been proven I will get it just like the flu shot. Conspiracy theories with me and my friends are non existent WRT Vaccine...the long term effects of the science have not been proven enough for me to put it in my body.

Chip,
The article did not reference a poll. Many polls call 1000 people, to state 45% of “The” people feel this way or that. I’ve seen reference to “internet” polls. If you click on those polls, they usually request E-Main addresses. Your in-box will never be lonely. I have “robo” call block. If a polling robot calls me, good luck. Thanks for allowing me to pontificate.
PS
I’m Catholic, and I’ve received both Moderna vacines.
