I don’t think the average citizen understands just how complicated it is to develop any kind of vaccine. Let alone a novel vaccine that nobody bumped up against. When Covid first hit, they gave a lot of misinformation at first because they were acting off what they thought they knew. But the good thing about science is they keep asking. When you think it only took four months from the first case to a vaccine if you know anything at all about science, you have to just stand in amazement one of my favorite comments from a comedian who is arguing with a guy that thought he was smart. Is this one:
“so you’re a millionaire techie so if I put you alone in the woods with an ax, how long until you could send me an email?“
