MSgt (Join to see) They need to expedite their visas... don't leave them hanging like the govt. did in Vietnam. Shameful... still bothers me today those that helped save thousands of American military lives were left to be sent to reformation camps or outright killed.

Abandoning Afghanistan is nothing like Vietnam. The Taliban will kill anyone who helped the Tadzhikistan Mercenaries that we put. In charge and anyone who has been defying the Koran.
Christmas of 1849 the British evacuated Kabul and 50,000 people died. There was nothing ne survivor. We have spent 20 years setting up one of the worst governments in history and now we are abandoning it. GOOGLE Doctor Brydon

Despite the hypocrisy of the politicians we should take those we promised. However, I have little confidence in the military and government to improve the process. MSgt (Join to see)

MAJ Ken Landgren - Wasn’t really looking to get into a back and forth of who should have done what. Regardless of the administration we should be taking care of those we promised our assistance and not leave them in such a perilous situation. I do understand your not having confidence in our elected officials or military leadership, many are frustrated.

What pisses me off is we made promises, and we know that some of them are at great risk to include their families; but the process from what I understand has not improved. That is a leadership and continuous problem. We can send men to the moon, but we can’t take of those who helped us. It really is a pathetic and sad situation. MSgt (Join to see)
