Sad story SGT (Join to see). i also posted this story. These men were all heroes to me. Its sad that anyone with that helicopter crew are all gone now. Its even sadder that Americans were even involved in this atrocity.

Sorry Bill, I didn't know. He must have been really young when he was in Vietnam. This happened in 1968 and he died at age 67. That's only a year after I left and I'm 71now. It made me sad when I read the crew chief died three weeks later.

I didn't realize there were over 500 civilians murdered. I used to think Calley was used as a patsy, but not anymore. He deserved to be put in prison. His CO did too, but he wasn't charged.
