The Rise of BlueAnon is one of the most important political books of the decade. It’s also one of the saddest, exploring how a once-great Democratic Party has become infected with paranoia and conspiracy theories. Harsanyi, a columnist for the Washington Examiner, calls these new liberal crazies “BlueAnon.” They are the left-wing version of QAnon, the crazy far-right conspiracy nuts. Thus, there’s no real difference between conspiracy guy Alex Jones and Russiagate hoaxer Rachel Maddow.
Harsanyi argues that while QAnon is a fringe phenomenon, BlueAnon has entered the mainstream of American culture through media, universities, and the internet. It has also become a dangerous threat to the future of American democracy.

The Democrat party is the threat they constantly warn us about.

I believe that I am like many Americans in that I want a political system with rational candidates and rational agendas. I am not thrilled with Donald Trump as the Republican candidate, but I surely will not be voting for Kamala Devi Harris, who is a far-left purveyor of untruths. Even my church, normally very liberal in its outlook, has big problems with voting for her due to her expressed agenda. The old Democratic Party of Hubert Humphrey and Henry "Scoop" Jackson, which was as described, rational, anti-Communist and likeable, is long gone, replaced by far-left supporters of nut groups like Antifa and BLM.

Exactly so! Which leaves me wondering why/how there are so many here on RP who clearly just don't get it. The only explanation is TDS . . .
