Just toured the Lockheed F35 plant in Fort Worth last Friday, plane touted as best in world. About 10 years from first flight in 2006 to going operational in last several years. Separate vetsions for Air Force, Marines snd Navy. Hard to get software right. Hundreds of subcontractors involved.
