"While the study found little evidence that masks protected the wearers from Covid-19, it should not be used as evidence to not wear a mask. “Even a small degree of protection is worth using the face masks,” says Dr. Henning Bundgaard, professor of Cardiology at Rigshospitalet in Denmark and lead author of the study, “because you are protecting yourself against a potentially life-threatening disease." Lead Researcher Behind Controversial Danish Study Says You Should Still Wear A Mask
Critics of mask-wearing policies used a Danish study on mask-wearing to bolster their claims such policies are ineffective, but scientists, including those involved with the study, disagree.

I vote for USA bandanas, made in USA, with all the accoutrements. Has red and blue, so no political issue. No black to offset white. Not a deal breaker for a Patriot. Crispus Attucks.

On the serious side - Covid is real. Those at risk should pay particular attention. I turn 60 in another month so am on the cusp of the age group that is at a higher risk. On the flip side, I am healthy, still work out, I am a little over weight but not obese (which seems to be a losing battle as the T levels keep going down). I live in a densely populated area (Broward County, FL) and so far have not had any issues with it. Testing positive is way different than being clobbered by it. I have enough friends who have tested positive with absolutely no signs. I suspect I've probably had it and again, no signs. The politicizing of this virus is what irritates the hell out of me.

SSgt (Join to see) - I live in the sticks, so limited exposure, no tests available, any positive cases are told to go home and call if they are dying. I wear a mask, but realize it's not a gas mask. The vaccines will help. They have some good therapeutics too. Could be a tough Winter. With the pending lockdowns we can expect another run on retail. I've lived on MRE's so if it comes to that, no sweat. They politicize wars too, so I factor that in.

You got that right. Because of health reasons (wife) we left the open countryside of Colorado and have been in dense populated SE Florida for almost 2 years. Fortunately, the Governor here is, so far, of the mind of very little lock downs - leaving it to the counties.

With meds and vaccines masks will become less of an issue. Just try to be within the bell curve, statistically.
