I am a person that doesn't believe in abortion, when voting I go with what my heart tells me to do.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth SFC Shirley Whitfield I see the reasoning from both of you, but this video had some statements that are not true, and should be addressed.
1. Pastors will speak to someone about sex. Every couple that is about to get married meets with a pastor and discusses all the ramifications of marriage including being parents. I am sure they will talk to a single pregnant girl as well.
2. The statement that many girls at church are getting pregnant is just not true. I can't think of a documented case of that has happening at my church and we have 700 youth who come to our church.
3. Jesus advocates love. Totally agree, but He also was very angry at times by what some people were doing. Not sure He would be happy with a girl who had an abortion. Love her yes. Happy no.
4. And Shirley.. I would take a family member in if she were pregnant in a New York minute. I feel that should be all people's responsibility in their families.
5. As far as voting for a candidate who is pro abortion, nope.

SFC Shirley Whitfield - I too. Do not know what was written in the dirt. Probably something like , those who have not sinned can throw the first stone." Shirley I just can't accept your stats on Pators as world wide fact. There are different denominations and beliefs, but I am sure the majority would give council to people who are getting married or seeking help during their pregnancy. I can't imagine any church turning away a young pregnant girl. As a matter of fact we have special group meetings for those who are expecting, and offer support to those who have had an abortion. Many are not church affiliated.

I do not have anything to back this up, but I suspect that there are very few "Single Issue" voters.
I note, you have tagged this post with "religion", "Christianity", and "bible" tags. I am a Christian, but I believe firmly in the separation of church and state, even though it is not as many believe enshrined within the Constitution.
My moral compass is formed by my understanding of Christianity, but if I cannot form a coherent and logical argument, free of scriptural support, on a given issue; I believe that falls into the category of forcing my religion upon others. That said, I have very strong political beliefs that abortion should be made illegal in all but the rarest of circumstances.

As far as adoption, I would say there are allot of childless couples who would love to adopt a baby. The problem with most adoptions these days is those with money get the baby and those without money are left out.

SSG (Join to see) - There's another bugaboo. I spend 100000 to adopt little Snookums and then ten years later (after I've done all the work) - drug momma goes to court - claims to have "cleaned up" (love that phrase) and the court gives the baby back to her. "Oh you mean she/court has to compensate you for the 100000 you spent?" Oh no. Court takes the baby from you and gives the baby back to little miss reformed momma.
That - is why many (myself included) do not adopt.

PO3 Donald Murphy how awful! The money is hard come by, but way down the ladder. I didn't know that could even be done.
In NV, the child is issued a new birth certificate w the adoptive parents shown as the only parents.

Takes two to tango. Unmarried mothers, that means they give birth, have an obligation to force the father to financially support both the mother and child. Killing a baby because a woman believes its birth will be inconvenient is wrong. Voting for someone who thinks its compassionate to kill babies is morally corrupt.
