That is interesting news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. That news seems to match up with some of the Special operations forces were "available" to support a rescue operation.
In any event I am glad that the House Benghazi Committee report contains the fact that "Spain-based Marines trying to respond to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, were delayed for three hours as U.S. government officials debated whether they should wear their uniforms and carry weapons"

I would appreciate reading a complete report with details all falling into place and agreed upon by our government! Just once, concurrence and agreement by all! SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL

"Rota is about 2,000 miles from Benghazi"....that sums it up right there. 2000 miles in a C-130 will have you late as hell for anything. Also waiting six hours for the planes to get there means GEN Hamm was right, there was nothing in the AO that would've made any difference. This is an unfortunate action, but now all we can do is learn from it, and maybe preposition better. Having them waiting on a ride is UNSAT for a QRF.
