Interesting article. I wonder if the remains of the Anastasia were ever found? Or if they did take mercy on her and her brother because they were babies.

They really prove that the lady who claimed to be Anastasia was not. Her DNA was not the same as the romanovs. Just my opinion but I think communist Bolshevik types did not want any of the bloodline to survive.

Anna Anderson (16 December 1896– 12 February 1984) was the best known of several impostors who claimed to be Grand Duchess Anastasia of Russia.[2][3] Anastasia, the youngest daughter of the last Tsar and Tsarina of Russia, Nicholas II and Alexandra, was killed along with her parents and siblings on 17 July 1918 by communist revolutionaries in Yekaterinburg, Russia; but the location of her body was unknown until 2007.[2][4][5]
