Mattis: Deploy-or-get-out rule is about fairness

It is about time. This is a good thing. This is how it was back in the day, then we drifted away.... Case in point... I saw more than one senior officers, who could not deploy.... so the rest of us had to carry more of the load, but both could still compete in marathons and triathlons.... There needs to be exceptions, for legitimate injuries, but we need this.
