Finally Virginia is waking up to the fact there is some good things about weed that doesn't require someone to get high all the time. I'm not sure if this is related to an incident where a AD SM had a daughter with epilsey and nothing was working until she got some of this oil. It was against the law then to move it out of CO and into VA, so he ETS'd, and moved to CO and would drive the oil back knowing he was breaking the law in the process. They passed a law then saying it would be legal under very strict conditions, so it was a start in the right direction. I think this one is too. Shame Vets cannot do this without risking loosing more than they bargained for with security clearances, weapons, and healthcare when it's still federally illegal and Sessions has a personal vendetta against weed.

I've heard good things about the oils, and similar things about the edibles, although I guess you still can get baked on the edibles. No personal experience, just things in general. It would be nice if the VA would get involved in testing but until federal law is changed, they can't go against a federal law.

Agreed! I thought there was a post on here where there was a loophole where they (the VA) cannot prescribe it to you, but can talk to you about it. If true that is a step in the right direction UNTIL you're in possession of weapons, a security clearance, or are LEO. At that point, you just got hosed, and it's not fair. I'm waiting on Sessions since he has a personal vendetta against weed to see where this goes. If it can really help, he's hurting the process then

There was a CBD oil bill passed here in Indiana today to the tune of 90-0! Not close to recreational or even medical use of marijuana but its a start and unanimous votes are always pleasantly surprising.
