Memorial Day Mixed Messages — Getting It Right

While I agree with the sentiments, I think the writer needs to lighten up. Those Memorial Day sales were made possible by the men and women who gave their lives for those who came after them.

I teach my kids Memorial Day is the day we remember those who answered the call and gave their lives in service to the Country. We honor their memory by living the best lives they made possible by their sacrifice.
