Preserving mental health through farming challenges is a real concern; one study shows farmers die by suicide at a higher rate than other professions.
It’s easy to focus on problems and mistakes in farming. At least it was for John Kimbrough, a Marine Corps veteran who now raises cattle with his wife Erin in Texas, who didn't come to terms with his mental health until it was nearly too late.
“I didn’t know how much it affected me until my wife wrestled a pistol out of my hand,” Kimbrough said. “Thank God she’s been through a lot of martial arts training and was better at pistol disarms than I am.”
A 2020 report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention found that farmers died by suicide at a higher rate than people in most other professions. The same study found that overall suicide rates have increased by more than 40% in less than 20 years.

Add to this that the Farmers can't get compost like you think they can. President Biden wants to cut back on natural gas and that's one of the big ingredients for making fertilizer buy chemicals. The White House and the Congress don't realize how many items and chemicals and by-products are made from oil and natural gas. So going green has its downside but they don't want to talk about that. What's more important? Saving the Earth when the Earth is going to warm up anyway and when the Chinese and Indians were given an extra 40 years to comply with their carbon dioxide mitigation or are you going to let Farmers commit suicide or go broke because they can't make a profit due to the high price and shortages that were caused on purpose by the President Biden Administration. The energy and interior secretaries don't give a damn at all. They want high prices. They refused to answer the Congressional panel when asked if they just give a nebulous answer and they are worse than the former press secretary for President Biden. They end up getting a ward salad that you would hear from Kamala Harris.

Sadly sir, I believe the Biden Administration (and most Professional Politicians) know what damage they cause but don't care. They probably think they can fix it after elections and be a hero. They do NOT understand that they are destroying the very fabric of this once great country.

PO1 Richard Cormier there in panic mode right now but we know that Bernie Sanders is The Wizard of Oz behind the curtain putting a 45 to the head of President Biden and other Democrats who have to follow their leftist guidance or else but we don't have to worry so much because after January 20th, 2023, Congress will be in the hands of the Republicans and the house and possibly the Senate and it will be gridlock until the presidential election.
I know much can't be done but the Democrats will be in a clinically depressed mode when they realize that Americans are not left of Lenin after all. Hopefully the farmers will have the resiliency to continue and the local government officials will be voted out and replaced with those who are more farmer friendly.
This just came out a couple days ago and so far none of the Zealot extreme Pro Biden people have said anything about this latest survey. They know the Cavalry is coming in November and they know that Hispanics are upset especially those Democratic Hispanics that are at the border and we're big ignored by Washington DC.

We depend on them and they have very few resources available to them. The profession is one that is critical to our nation, often overlooked and almost impossible to get time off.
