It's hard to believe our nation's politics has come to this level of unprofessionalism. I can see one or maybe two comments taken out of context, but the number for Trump is out of bounds. For those who still support his rhetoric, I know you will disagree with me and that's okay.

I tend to agree with you Lt Col Timothy Parker, DBA that it seems many of Donald Trumps comments are taken out of context. Those that are tongue-in-cheek are the ones that tend to be exploited.

LTC Stephen F. - This wasn't tongue-in-cheek. Hugh Hewitt pressed him yesterday and Trump insisted that he meant what he said.
Its also nowhere near the first time, and then there are all of his "Many people are saying..." and "People keep asking me...." followed by claims ranging from outrageous lies to crazy conspiracy theories.
We still remember his birther crap and insult-based primary campaign, so no more benefit of doubt when it comes to context for Donald Trump.

Sgt Kelli Mays - Since I was listed here, let me say I don't think Trump lied in the conventional sense of the term - I do think he used innuendo and inflammatory statements in his rhetoric. Name calling, threatening not to support our long-standing treaties, and making other extreme remarks is not the ideal (or even traditional) leader of our country in the international arena - militarily, economically, diplomatically, or otherwise in my view.

He does make a good point, why exactly is the media or the public taking Trump seriously? The man is a professional clown.
