This is one that I just don't understand. Governors have the ability to correct injustices through a pardon. From what I've read on this case there is no doubt he didn't do it and was unjustly convicted. I find it unconscionable that he will now have to spend years wrangling through the legal system trying to correct this. It's not like he is ever getting those years back and that's on top of the time he has already lost.

It's pretty clear example of being pushed into an uncaring bureaucracy. The sad thing here is it doesn't have to be this way.

All it takes is one signature on one form and he is pardoned.....

don't know about where h'e from...
But here there is an " Innocence and Pardon Commission" and they go thru the process to exonerate and acquire the pardons and obtain finical compensation for the person... Its long process, but they get everything back that is possible with compensation... and in many cases charges have been filed against the Folks who wrongfully charged and convicted them if Malice or wrong doing or prejudice... can be proven...
