Where was our intel prior to Tet? Might compare this to what happened to us at the Battle of the Bulge; surprise attack with large force and no knowledge of the buildup.
Thanks, Chip.
Thanks, Chip.

LTC John Griscom Having worked the Other side of that Equation (I'm Intel) You Would be Amazed How Often "Intel" is Blown Off or Read Incorrectly by someone because it doesn't match their Personal Agenda.

GySgt John Olson - Montgomery ignored the intel from Dutch sources as inaccurate. MacArthur had Willoughby who screwed up in WW II and Korea (not sure why Mac kept him).

Thanks Chip for posting this, although I don't like to be reminded of it. It's hard to believe that was 50 years ago. Our politicians did not allow us to win the Vietnam war so all those lives were wasted. What's so sad is that continues to happen today. Our country and military is made up of honorable people and we will not do the things our enemies do to win. I'm not saying we should kill innocent women and children like our enemies do but we have to change the way we do things to be more effective.
