Lost revenue from a contracted event for both the State in taxes and the people who work the event let alone local advertising which may have contractually sign for air time during the game which no longer exists and what about orders for food and beverages by vendors and the stadium itself and the list goes on to include everyone affected to become a class action lawsuit.

SPC Michael Duricko, Ph.D - Almost all of these contracts have an escape clause based on reputational damage, I'd be amazed if whatever contract exists does not have one.
More particularly for this article and my comment, the small businesses suing were not party to any contract I know of with the MLB and thus would not have any standing to sue. It was great that they could take advantage of the playoffs happening in their city but that was nothing the MLB contractually agreed to with them, they were just second order beneficiaries.
If I contractually agreed to give you $500, and you told your friend when I gave you that $500 you would in turn give him $250 he can't sue me if I fail to give you the $500. Sure he's out $250 but he has no standing to enforce a contract between you and I.

At this point the behavior of people in major league sports players and management I have found so disgusting I refuse to even bother watching them anymore. These people certainly are NOT serving as a good example to follow but behave like spoiled, entitled children. They were nothing but entertainment anyway and now they aren't even that. There are people that work essential jobs, provide services We need and it's not sports players.

Top 10 most memorable Grey Cup moments
With the Grey Cup nearly upon us, we look back at some of the most memorable moments in the great game's history in the SportsCentre Top 10.
For people who've definitely is unfortunately, the Canadian football league is on coronavirus lockdown this last season but I have been pushing this as an alternative even if it is more like a college football game to some viewers. I was actually thanked by a shuttle van driver at jbloom who thanked me for Canadian football when they had the NFL strike decades ago. I was at JBLM with a broken ankle for a few months. Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Once the guy knew I was from Canada, he thanked me for saving his football weekend.

CSM Charles Hayden it is weird that there are still two hospitals on JBLM. The Air Force One and the Army one even though both basis merged about 20 years ago. It is a small world. I am lucky, the VA representative told me that I would be arthritic with a broken ankle having plates and screws and I have been fit for Duty since October 2009 and I have had no issues with my ankle even with my walking-intensive courier job.
