Could somebody please rain this guy in. In post-revolutionary America, most ocean-going commercial sailing ships were armed with cannons to ward off privateers and pirates. He's not "lying" he's just making up some "facts" to support his gun grabber position.

Well, that coming from a guy who is from Delaware and who actually said, "Delaware has never had a Senator," [paraphrased]. Yet he himself as we all know was a Delaware Senator! LOL
As for what he said ... more than a few post-revolution citizens owned canons. In fact, a nearby farmer has a 155mm artilery cannon today, though it's very unlikely he has, or could get rounds for it. LOL
