Thank you, my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for posting. The title is kind of strange since by definition TBI impacts the brain primarily.
The mind is correlated with the soul in that both are non-material in nature.
I have been through a few TBI's in my lifetime - one has resulted in amnesia for an 8 to 12 hour time period when I was in grade school. The information is there and yet I can not retrieve it. I have watched Alzheimer's and other dementia patients experience loss of ability to recall current events and yet be able to retrieve events from long ago.
