Nation's oldest World War II vet dies at age 112

There is a bit of sorrow that comes with each passing death of those who have served in WWII. Knowing that the last American WWI vet died just a few years ago, we also must face the knowledge that these soldiers are also starting to grow older, and soon they will be simply a memory as well. We’ll no longer be able to hear their stories, and will only see them in movies.
I pray for this hero’s family, as well as for all the veterans of this era of American Military history.
