Navy says lava field near base housing area may be unsafe

Nope, actually 100% safe, no volcanic activity on that island for thousands of years. they are all inactive. The housing on Joint base Hickam/Pearl Harbor is very new and modern also. When My Dad was still on active duty in the US Navy in the early 50s My Mom and I lived there with Him in Navy Housing. those were torn don and replaced in the early 1970s when I My self was stationed at Hickam AFB, Hi wile I was on active duty with the US Air Force.
