I’m really tired of American politics. It’s winner takes all dogfighting. I truly fear that our Republic is not going to last. Only instead of bloody fighting, we’ll have gerrymandered ourselves into one party rule. With 1/3 of the country cheering, 1/3 crying, and 1/3 remaining apathetic regardless of what happens.
No matter whether I look left or right, it’s hard to find people who will call out their own team when they are wrong and the other team when they are right. All I hear is “the other guy is evil.” It’s exhausting.

SPC (Join to see) - So true. I think many of the moderate people on both sides would agree. And it is exhausting. I have to take a few days off from the news now and then to recharge my batteries and regain my focus on what is actually important.

They have intent! They WILLINGLY "jumped to a conclusion," no journalism, creating a false narrative and you still can't see an issue. Jumping to a conclusion IS NOT journalism 101. Your mental gymnastics are disturbing.
Journalism is the production and distribution of reports on current events BASED ON FACTS AND SUPPORTED WITH PROOF OR EVIDENCE.

Cpl (Join to see) - Willingly jumped to a conclusion? So when you misunderstood my initial complaint were you willingly jumping to a conclusion as well? Should the readers think you were lying? If not, what makes those two instances different?
