Great share PO1...one of my favorites. My ancestors have been here a long, long time (some as early as the 1600s), but they came here for the same reasons; opportunity, freedom, and a new start.

LCDR Joshua Gillespie Nothing Like Roots, My Dawes and Throckmorton Ancestors arrived about that same time. Now My German Ancestors are Much More Recent Part of the Great Migration of Germans to Missouri that Started in the 1850s and Continued thru the Early 1900s.

One of my favorites. And so timely. Six of my former students received their HS diplomas after years of work. Several of them started with absolutely minimal education in their home countries.
