Wow brother Rick! Not a good rule to follow IMHO, when split seconds are a factor yeah give me some added time to chamber a round, not!

I would do to this when not carrying but I wanted to have easy access and rounds in the chambers. I would have all chambers loaded except the one that was where the firing pin was. The reason would be if it were dropped and landed exactly on the hammer, an accidental discharge would not likely happen. I would still have a round available when the hammer was cocked and the cylinder advanced.

I carry all of mine "hot", with a round in the chamber. My P320 and P365 don't have safeties, but I don't have a problem with that. My P226, P228 and both P229s have decockers, so I carry them decocked. My P938s have a 1911-style action, so I carry them cocked-and-locked.

Do you carry all at once SGT Steve McFarland? Ive been carrying my Sig 363 SAS on most days, sometimes my Sig M11A1. I should carry a backup piece!

SFC William Farrell My usual EDC pistol is either a SIG P365 or P938, and I carry one of the larger pistols on Sunday. I have IWB holsters for all of my pistols.

SFC William Farrell I have a SIG P228, which was the predecessor to the M11-A1. I also have a P229 Legion, and both are sweet shooting pistols.
