The First Amendment — and its protection of free speech — may be the best-known and, possibly, the most cherished of the amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
But there is also a long-running battle over what the limits of free speech should be. And this election year, with its heated and sometimes hateful rhetoric — and challenges to the tech companies to referee it all — is certainly placing that battle at the forefront.

I don’t see the Right trying to trample free speech; perhaps you should provide some examples. The Left, however, that’s a different story. Colleges not allowing speech from the Right or allowing its students to disrupt the speech, calling person with opposing points of view racist, homophobe, whatever-ist, etc., to shut down others free speech. The article points specifically to the current administration as liars while not looking directly in the mirror to see the nonstop lies coming from the right. This article promoting a book is nothing more than left wing propaganda and ironically, misleading you into thinking that the Right is going after free speech.
