I don't believe this 'wave' will amount to what happened before. First, we've faced it before and the variants don't appear to be worse than the original based on reported hospitalizations. Second, I think a majority of Americans won't mask again.

I am suspicious that trigger- happy Democrats are going to want to go back to the future and put in the mandates. Let us not forget how there was gridlock in Canada by the truckers protesting. Most the truckers we're vaccinated but they didn't like to be put under the 15-day quarantine. The truck protest in the USA was about to kick off when President Biden dropped his 15-day quarantine and the Canadian government drop theirs.
