Something you can spend lots of money on. What caught my eye was the forward assist. A lot of manufacturers are not putting FA on their new ARs and the reasoning is weight reduction. The one AR I do have has FA on it, I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise. This gun was designed in part by a multiple World Champion and He wanted it. That's my pfennings worth of commentary on this article.

With the M16 the two times I really had to use my Forward Assist was right after I had to use it on full auto. I will never buy an AR15 that doesn't have one, though they only semi-auto.
