New York man accused of fabricating decorated Green Beret military career

No surprise here, this has been going on for as long as there was the Military, these folks have such low self esteem that they need to pump it up. The problem is in today's digital age more vets spot the phony faster. In addition these fakers never learn a good script and their story falls apart fairly quickly. Those that hate the military don't see this as a problem and they will never understand how much of a problem it really is.

While I think he should be hammered into dog sh@t for doing what he did... there is something that is amazing at how gullible and accepting people are today, with no verification of what people say.. all in an age where it is easier than ever to figure out if they are real or not. It's not like you have to write a letter to the DOD to request they do a paper record search...
