Last weeks TV ratings for the NFL were down 11% from last year, this past weeks down 19%! Those of us who are turning the channel are having an effect ant the money people are getting worried. I know it is difficult for us former fans, once this crap ends I expect to again watch my Bucs play again, but we must keep up the pressure. The talking head liberals are saying we are not having an effect. They say those staying away from the stadiums aren't having an effect either because the tickets are already sold and paid for, next year is definitely in jeopardy as season ticket sales to patriotic Americans will fall. The NBA should also pay attention to what is happening to NFL ratings as it seems that NBA players are taking up the same stance as the NFL players.

Haven't watched an NFL game this season ... and have no interest in ever watching an NFL game again. Timing is great! My household has "been selected to take part in a one-week Nielsen TV Ratings viewing survey!" The NFL certainly won't be one of those we view.

Can't help but laugh..A little bit longer and those over paid whining bitches will have to change their tune, yet if they begin to stand and do the right thing it will be a hollow gesture motivated by money..

It's unfortunate that I have to agree with you as the ratings and attendance fall the obvious will happen, the protests will stop driven by $$$$. That was the point of the protest of those offended by the timing of the protests, not the protest itself, if they had chosen another time to protest we would not have been offended. As a matter of fact we would have supported it.

Very much so..The NFL is a business like any other and when the bottom line is getting smaller they will do what needs to be done. Thus a hollow gesture motivated by greed..

I can only speak for myself and the folks I know. But literally all of my friends and family (except 1 guy) are boycotting the NFL. Many of my friends were diehard fans who spent $1000’s a year on games and merchandise. Just a small glimpse of how folks are upset about the players actions.
