Bonkers! I'm waiting for the mainstream-media pendulum to swing back (and I must believe it will). Collectively, the public will demand a return to objective journalism similar to how the public in Chicago demanded an end to organized-crime gang warfare after the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre in 1929.

Ultimately, the ideological/political bias will fall on deaf ears/eyeballs and as the ratings and revenue plunge deep down to the bottom of the toilet, the survival instinct will kick in, the media will go through a period of atonement and rediscover objective journalism. If not, the toilet will flush.
