North Korea blows up inter-Korea liaison office, raising tensions

Army Reserve and National Guard units are war traced on the West Coast to Korea. The war in the Korean peninsula is only a ceasefire. It is NOT an armistice or peace treaty. It is like a 1/2 time in football( war)since 1953. The US has 27000 service members in South korea. There is about a 1/2 million South Korean military facing one million North Korean military.

This could also be because the US is in so much turmoil that our adversaries take advantage of it.

Even though we are so focused on the rioting in the USA ,We also have 3 aircraft Carrier battle groups in the South China sea because mainland China is increasing the threat to Taiwan because Taiwan does not want to be bullied into unifying with mainland China.

China is taking advantage of the situation and slowly forcing communism on to Hong-Kong.

We need to be unified because this is serious stuff happening from North Korea.

We cannot be like we were after Watergate where the US was in such turmoil that it did nothing when North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam.

We cannot be divided like we were after Watergate where we did nothing when South Vietnam was hung to dry by itself. After the fall of South Vietnam, my Mother spent 3 weeks at camp Pendleton helping out the US Marines. My mom was a social worker and was trying to help out along with her United Way agency in helping resettle the Vietnamese refugees
