I think this is called "appropriation". "#WalkAway" is a spontaneous movement that cropped up among Democrats disillusioned with the policies and performance of their party. Now, it appears that Democrats want to recreate the same thing among the Republican rank and file. Good luck with that. The GOP has always been a disappointment to its rank and file. You'll have to come up with a better excuse for them to march like lemmings into pits of hell (otherwise known as the DNC)

CPT Jack Durish I am not attempting to start anything. I'm just speaking for myself and using their hashtag out of spite.

To claim one person from a small town in Penn represents all Republicans is quite a stretch. I do believe those who protest the Nat'l Anthem are ignorant regardless of the color of their skin. There are plenty of stupid people in the world, some play professional football.

Maybe I'm just a lousy writer because I don't believe I used the word "all" with regards to Republicans. I was talking about today's Republican mindset at the national party level, in senate and congressional offices, on the state and local level, in campaigns, on the nonprofit activist level, and in the online and broadcast media: people I've personally worked with over the last 23 years from Guam to Massachusetts and many places in-between. Sorry, it's not a stretch.

Please name five senior Republican leaders who you think are racist, and provide evidence.
