The emotions and heart-rending grief of these people will be exploited without limit by the demagogues, who will manipulate them into being spokespersons to advance their agenda.
Those demagogues sit back and await the inevitable slaughters they have anticipated in their "gun control laws". Then they try to blame "assault weapons", or "the NRA" for the deaths they cause.
There is no other rational explanation to explain the establishment, and continuing existence of so perverse a law as the "Gun Free School Zone Act", that leaves our schoolchildren defenseless against such monsters, who are guaranteed to have the only gun in that (imaginary) "Gun Free Zone".

SFC Thomas Butler - Give us some examples of those more secure and more effective gun controls of which you are thinking. Fair warning... I will go through them with a skeptics eye and will not support undue burdening of the millions of gun owners that are not a problem, but they will get fair consideration. I as a gun owner am willing to bear some burdens if your proposals are indeed "probably" effective.

SFC Thomas Butler - "Well if their was stricter and more effective gun control, there would probably be less incidents like the one in FL." If potential shooters knew that armed resistance awaited them in previously "gun free zones", there would be less incidents like the one in FL.

We need to train children who think logically and act morally. Good moral people will not chose to murder. If an eveilnperson doesn’t have a gun they will find something else to murder people with. An instigate object can’t kill people. A immoral person murders. We need to stop immoral people.
