Nukes: The Broadcast

Yup - had that happen on my submarine. The radioman walked into the control room during a drill, handed the "permission to fire" message to the captain and turned and left. As he reached the door to exit, he looked back and muttered loudly "what if the radioman woke up one morning and didn't want to play and just threw the message in the trash can?"

He was off the sub/out of the Navy in a week.
