Wow.....I wish he'd do this in SE DC or at Barry Farms in SW...If you want to get your ass beat down I guess you could do it. It might be your last meal. Why not just call them what you think they are and not beat around the bush? You're still going to be handed your ass.

I understand that these foods have come to be racist in nature when used in context with black people -- even by a black man, as Pol is. What I don't understand is how they got to be that way. Every white person I know loves those foods as much as anyone, including me. So to be clear, I know his statement was wrong, and is a problem. I just don't know how it got to be that way. I would certainly be willing to learn, however.
