Have any of them been charged with a Crime? Can any of them be Charged with a Crime? Or are they POWs to be Repatriated? While I served for 21 years in that mushy gray area, I actually believe in the Rule of Law otherwise we are no better than those we fight against. I don't have a problem with it.

SGT (Join to see) - And your problems is? You can keep them for 100 years and get nothing more out of them. If you want them to die their then execute them and save us the millions it is costing to keep that prison open.!!

My problem is the release of our enemies back into their way of life, and be able to kill more American soldiers. My problem is Obama, from day one, wanting to release the terrorists, and it wasn't because they are costing too much to keep them at GITMO. My other problem is veterans like you who only think about the cost to us in dollars and not lives.

I don't understand his position on wanting GITMO shut down. I know we are better people than them, but they have tried to kill us and being released they will continue trying to kill us and citizens of other countries.

SGT (Join to see) - you are absolutely correct, how many of those released already have gone back to the fight for whatever banner is in vogue.

No telling. I'm sure there's no way to keep tabs on them. The only way we will know for sure is if they are killed during combat. I know if I was released from a detainee (prison), I would go right back to my homeland and continue to fight the enemy. Here's a picture of them being tortured inside a GITMO torture fenced in area.
