Thanks for the heads up. I'll pass it on. I don't have one of my own, but all of my friends and family, every last one of them, has a horror story. Rising premiums. Insurmountable deductibles. Loss of access and choice in healthcare. Pelosi was correct. We had to pass it to find out what was in it and now we wish we hadn't...

Well, a lot of that has to do with Republicans tacking on amendments to it or in more recent days, Republicans removing certain items that helped Obamacare actually work. The fault does NOT lay totally at the feet of Obama or the Democrats.

Cpl Tom Surdi - It was a shit system from the very beginning. It was destined to fail, if not DESIGNED to fail. It was an insurance company's dream the way it was originally set up because it guaranteed the sale of far more coverage than most people who had to pay for it actually needed, and it guaranteed money from the Federal government to cover the people who didn't have to pay. It was unsustainable. It was so bad, that many people think it actually was designed to fail so it could be used as a stepping stone to a single-payer system.

Cpl Tom Surdi - The GOP had two rational options. Allow the ACA to die a natural death or repeal it. Sadly, they ignored them and chose to tack on bandaids. As soon as they did that they took ownership and hung the albatross around their own necks. Stupid, truly stupid.

My wife and I did have health insurance before the ACA went into effect, our insurance tripled in price, so we had to drop it. Shared this to Facebook.
