The Green New Deal Knuckleheads in DC and the White House do not let you know this is happening worldwide. Why should we suffer over the Green New Deal? We need to build Gas and Nuclear Plants and finish the Harry Reid Nuclear Depository at Yucca Mountain. We spent $10 billion and it is idle. It is 90% finished! Why Is China Placing A Global Bet On Coal?
China has taken dramatic steps to fight climate change, including shutting major coal power plants. But now it plans to build hundreds of coal plants abroad.

Fits perfectly with Chinas vision of making other countries dependent on them. The density of coal fired plants within China contributed to massive pollution but they can close those plants, build new ones in far off countries without that density issue and have coal customers for the foreseeable future.

With all the oil that Canada has also it seems just on that alone both the US and Canada would do quite well on Canadian Oil. With the US and Canadian assets together We certainly could take good care on all North America. Our own politicians in both countries are screwing it up !

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - We should have hybrid cars. I loved the Ford Fusion hybrid. It is no longer made. It got almost 45 mpg doing 80 mph when I was late to drill when I was in California. The braking charges the battery as well and the engine shuts off and uses the electric motor when going downhill. California does not want nuclear nor natural gas-powered plants so when they have a heatwave, they have rolling blackouts. Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I don't want to sound like a luddite but for the short term investment, I will put my money into the oil market because we still have too many vehicles on the road and people are going to put down $50000 for The Tesla or other mid priced electric cars just yet. I know I've read articles about $10 per barrel fuel in 2050 but that is 30 years away. I foresee the summer driving season this year being very lucrative for oil companies

LTC (Join to see) That's fine, I'd just rather invest for the future.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I did, invested in Tesla at Apple and made a bunch of money. I did, invested in Tesla at Apple and made a bunch of money. I'm only putting less than 5% of my portfolio into oil stocks so I am diversified and I will not get burned. I am not going into hype stuff like buying stock in game stop nor am I going into the hype of buying into bitcoin. I think those are fads that are surely going to lose money.
